Savory Charcuterie's Story
"How in the world did you get into this?! You used to be a teacher?"
Trust me, I hear this all the time!
With a degree in art, I had a dream of opening a charcuterie business of my own in 2020. I began creating some simple boards for my friends and I to enjoy on our monthly girl nights, but never thought it would turn into a business. Later on that year I brought one of my boards to eat at Whole Hearted Winery. The owners, Dan and Brenda, loved it but I wasn’t in the right place to open my own business.
In the summer of 2021, I finally was in the right space to begin creating Savory Charcuterie. It all started in my living room on a couch one hot summer day with a logo design and determination (and a lot of support from family and friends). I went back to Whole Hearted Winery in late 2021 with a board to eat with my friends and Dan & Brenda once again loved it. They asked if I could partner with them in creating Charcuterie for Whole Hearted Winery and who could say no?
Since then, I have begun my business in the kitchen of Whole Hearted Winery and have had an outpouring of love and support from new and old customers, and an amazing partnership with the best winery in town!
